How to join

Vanillacraft is a whitelisted Minecraft server.
That means you need to be approved before you can start playing.
Don’t worry: it’s nothing complicated - we simply ask new members to tell us a little bit about themselves, and our staff team reviews applications to make sure the server stays a friendly and welcoming place for everyone.

How to start playing

There are a few simple steps to do before you start:

Join our Discord server and say hello.
Read our server rules and guidelines, which you can find in this handbook (under the Rules section). Make sure you have read them carefully: we have our ways of knowing if you have ;)
Make an application ticket in our Discord server. You can find that in the #tickets channel, or see Making a ticket for help.
Read through our application ideas to get some ideas for things you may want to include in your application! You have a lot of freedom with your application, so feel free to be creative and show us who you are if you’d rather not use the guide!
Wait for a staff member to review your application. We try to review applications as quickly as possible, but it may take up to or (occasionally) more than a day. Please be patient - we will get to it as soon as we can!
If your application is accepted, you can join as soon as you link your Discord account to your Minecraft account! If you need help with that, see Linking your account.
You can start playing! We’ll give you the server IP and any other information you ask for - and we’d be happy to show you around the server with a tour if you ask for one when joining. See Joining the Minecraft server for more information on how to join a Minecraft server.
